  • What is Text Services?
    Managing your Abercrombie & Fitch Credit Card by text is a convenient, easy, and secure way to access your account information from anywhere with your mobile phone.   • How does Text Services work?
    Text Services lets you quickly make a payment, request and receive account information from us by text message. Simply text us a command at 83569 any time, 24/7. We'll reply within seconds. Set up Text Services now
  • What do I need to use Text Services?
    If you haven't provided your mobile number, we'll need that. Add your mobile number and we'll send you an activation code. To Pay by Text, we'll need a valid checking account linked to your credit card. Once you've added your checking account you're good to go. Set up Text Services now
  • How secure is Text Services?
    Your privacy is always protected. No personal or financial information will be stored on your phone, and all wireless communications are securely encrypted. Text messages will never contain confidential information about you or your accounts, or your full account number. All Text Services messages are sent from 83569. We recommend that you add this number to your contacts, so you can be sure it's really us sending you messages.
  • Will Text Services work on my phone?
    Yes, as long as your mobile carrier supports text messaging. Text messaging charges may apply, so check with your carrier about your specific mobile plan.
  • What are the commands used in Text Services?

    INFO - For current balance, statement balance, minimum due, available credit, payment due date

    PAY - To enter payment amount, verify payment details, receive payment confirmation

    HELP - Helpful text commands, link to Account Center

    STOP - To cancel Text Services

    You can text common phrases too, like "What is my due date?"

  • Are text commands case sensitive?

    No. Lowercase (pay) or all caps (PAY) will both work.

  • How do I cancel Text Services?

    Text STOP to 83569 any time. Text Services will be immediately canceled.

  • What if I forget the text commands?

    No worries. You can text common phrases too, like "I want to make a payment."

  • What if my mobile number changes?
    Simply visit Text Services in Account Center to update your mobile number you use for text services.
  • How do I Pay by Text?
    Once you have set up Text Services, simply text us the command "PAY". Please note, in order to enable payments from your bank, we'll need your checking account information Set up Text Services
  • My payment is due today. If I pay by text, will my payment be processed with today's date?

    Payments made by text that are submitted before 8PM ET can be credited to your account today. Text payments submitted after 8PM ET will be credited the following day. If you submit a payment after the payment cutoff time on your due date, your payment will be subject to late fees as disclosed in your credit card agreement. Please note that it may take up to two business days to complete the financial transfer from your personal bank account to your Abercrombie & Fitch Credit Card.

  • If I pay by text, can I schedule the date I want my payment withdrawn from my bank account?

    If you would like to select the date the payment will post to your Abercrombie & Fitch Credit Card, please submit your payment online. All text payments submitted before 8PM ET will be credited to your account today. Text payments submitted after 8PM ET will be credited the following day. If you submit a payment after the payment cutoff time on your due date, your payment will be subject to late fees as disclosed in your credit card agreement.

  • How can I delete a payment made by text?

    If funds have not yet been transferred from your bank account, you may be able to delete a scheduled payment—depending on when and how you make your request:

    By Mail or Account Center's Secure Message Center: 6:00 PM ET (Eastern Time), at least 3 business days before the scheduled payment date. Need help? Contact us.

    Through Customer Care: 7:59 PM ET (Eastern Time), at least 3 business days before the scheduled payment date. Need help? Contact us.

    Account Center Online: 11:59 PM ET (Eastern Time), on the day of your scheduled payment date. To make a request, visit the Payments page, then tap or click the edit pencil located next to the scheduled payment you wish to delete.
