  • What is a cash advance?
    A cash advance enables you to use your Cost Plus World Market® Mastercard® Credit Card account to borrow and access your cash credit line at a bank or ATM. However, it must be paid back – with interest, plus applicable cash advance fees and ATM fees (if that's how you request the cash). Simply put, you are borrowing cash from your available line of credit, rather than purchasing goods and services.
  • How do I take a cash advance?
    You can take a cash advance by using your Cost Plus World Market® Mastercard® and Personal Identification Number (PIN) at an ATM or by taking your credit card and ID to a teller at your local bank. Please note, we do not issue convenience checks at this time.
  • How do I request or change my PIN?
    To request or change your Cost Plus World Market® Mastercard® PIN, please contact Customer Care at 1-844-271-2769 (Cost Plus World Market Mastercard) or 1-844-271-2770 (Cost Plus World Market World Mastercard) (TDD/TTY: 1-888-819-1918).
  • What is a cash advance credit limit?
    A cash advance credit limit is the amount of your total credit limit that's available for cash advances.
  • Is my available cash advance amount different than my available credit?
    Yes, the credit limit on your account is different than the cash advance credit limit on your account. You can review your current account balance and cash advance balance in the Account Summary section of the Home page.
  • Are there charges or fees for a cash advance?
    Yes, there are charges and fees associated with a cash advance. A cash advance fee will be charged as a percentage of the cash advance amount, or as a flat rate, whichever is higher. Your Credit Card Agreement (CCA) includes information about the specific fees and rates for cash advances on your account.

    Please note, the interest charged on a cash advance does not have a grace period. This means that your account will begin to accumulate interest on the balance as soon as you take a cash advance, even if you pay your balance in full.
